The new buildings Artists/Creative partners Creative programme
The Devonport area of Plymouth is undergoing a major regeneration and an important part of the regeneration scheme is the redevelopment of the existing Cumberland Centre site. However due to the nature of the site and the restricted access work here will take place in three stages:-

Dental School, one of four new dental schools being built for The Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry on sites in Exter,Truro, here in Devonport and a second Plymouth school in the Derriford area of Plymouth. The school opened in April 2009.

GP surgery, a new building, work will begin here as once the refurbishment of the Cumberland Centre has been completed.

Refurbishment of the exisiting Cumberland Centre, reconfiguration of the car parks and landscaping of the grounds it is anticipated that works will begin here autumn/winter 2009.
These three developments offer an exciting opportunity to create a healthcare centre of the very highest standard one that serves the needs of the local population. As an integral part of the development works Zest is working with the Design Teams to create an exciting, high quality environment that meets the needs of all the users.
